Had some steel scraps lying around and decided to make a furnace for melting aluminum.
This furnace will be fueled with coal, i am going to use a hair dryer to force air inside, this will boost the temperatures, and speed the melting process up
The inner shell is 4mm plate and the rest are 2mm.

This is a project i did back in 2007 when i was very interested in hifi and huge amounts of low frequency sound. The goal with this project where to get flat response down to 15 hz (thats below the human hearing limit, but you can still feel it).
Anyone that has seen a movie with a SVS subwoofer for eksample knows what feeling it gives you, this is so to speak an very oversized version of the SVS tubes. The driver i chose was the Soundsplinter RL-P18
When i'm writing this i'm pulling most of it from memory so it wont be the most accurate worklog, but it'll do :)
Below is a couple of 3D renderings i did in Solidworks.
